great video. when he returned to the states over a decade ago, a friend and colleague who'd spent a few years working in Japan brought back a great appreciation for its people and culture. among his shared experiences that I haven't questioned since he returned is Japan's immigration policy. I hadn't known about its political acceptance of immigration and thank you for bringing it up. Will this video be making it to your YouTube channel for me to share with him?
Thanks prof. I tried to strike that request from my comment because I didn't realize that series isn't behind the paywall. Actually, I did more than once before giving up on doing so.
Separately, in the run up to publication date you suggested your book as complementary to Sapiens. Harari released a 2-book graphic novel-ish version of it. I wasn't expecting it. Since Sapiens was rather eye opening for me I was pleased to have a better format with which to introduce ideas to my children I found enlightening.
I'm curious whether you're planning any other release formats for yours beyond the video series and book itself. No harm if not. Just a curious biped.
A children's version is a great idea, as would other media and animations. It's crossed my mind, but no immediate plans. If it happens, I'll announce it on substack first.

Thanks - the country is very much still figuring it out. I added the video to YouTube: https://youtu.be/7dRQzTes3c0
